Sow and Cubs-These pictures were taken March 22, 2008 a short distance from one of the cabins.
The mother bear had come back to this same spot for the second year in a row. They tell us that is unusual for a mother bear to come back to the same den 2 years in a row. We are excited to see if she try's for a third! These bears are monitored by the Arkansas Fish and Game.

These babies and mamma are monitored very carefully. In no way were they ever in any danger or mistreated. Fish and Game weighed and measured each baby and then put them back with their mamma in the den.
